Carleton’s Ethiopian Student Association (CESA) have collaborated with the Eritrean Students Association (ESA) to host a coffee house event we are calling JEBENA BUNA. A culturally themed coffee house event that will bring together cultural groups united by their love for coffee, and fine cuisine.
Proceeds will be going to support the Abebech Gobena Orphanage and the Jabeir Jemmie Scholarship Fund.
The event will be held on Monday Nov. 24th at 8:30pm. We warmly welcome you and your friends to come out and enjoy amazing cultural food, performances and Ethiopian coffee traditionally brewed in a clay pot called a Jebena! Tickets can be purchased in the Atrium at Carleton University throughout the weeks leading up to the event. We hope to see you all there!
